This listing is for neocaridina shrimp with low-grade colour forms. They vary from dark wild-type colouration to pale red, blue, and yellow. Their pricing is reduced compared to our regular neocaridina shrimp, as they are not as attractive.
Neocaridina shrimp is a dwarf species of tropical shrimp. They are peaceful bottomfeeders that breed readily in clean water. They can be housed with other peaceful community fish. Be careful about which fish you keep with neocaridina shrimp, as they are easily preyed upon.
Cherry shrimp are great animals for a nano aquarium; a group of 10 cherry shrimp would easily be able to live in a 5-gallon aquarium. They have a wide range of ideal temperatures, from the mid-60's to low-80's. The most important part of keeping them is to keep the water parameters stable.
These animals are very sensitive to poor water quality, or unstable water parameters (particularly the blue varieties). Only add them to fully cycled aquariums.
